We are finally settled back into our tent in Zambia after traveling almost 10,000 miles in 24 hours. Although some people could never dream of living in a tent it is our home for now and we are glad to be back. The land here is beautiful and covered in green from the rains, in contrast with the brown landscape from the six months of dry season before we left. We are some of the first to arrive back at the base this year and it is much more quiet here.
Over the last month we have continued to see God’s provision for the ministry He has given us. During our time in the states we had about twenty more partners join our team and we were able to raise $22,000 of the $35,000 we need to build our house. We are so thankful for all the people that God has placed in our life that have made it possible for us to minister to the people of Zambia.
One of my favorite testimonies from the past month from fundraising was this: At the beginning of February I had reached a point where the remainder of our funds to raise seemed like a huge mountain. I felt like we had already contacted everyone we knew, so I decided to pray and trust God. At that point Heather and I made a list of about twenty people that we hadn’t contacted. When I called one of these people they invited me to come share at a men’s group they go to. I presented the vision to the group which lead to someone else asking me to share with a group of volunteers at a ministry he is involved with. I met a volunteer there had actually been looking for another missionary to support. God laid it on his heart to help us with the funding with our house, and he and his wife sowed a good chunk into our building fund.
I love the way that God networks people in His Kingdom together and glorifies Himself through it. Ephesians 4:16 says “from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Heather and I are anticipating the networking God will be doing in the chiefdom of Sekute as we begin to head back to the villages this year. We expect to see the body of Christ grow and many lives be transformed by the Word. I believe that the way God showed His hand in our fundraising is just a shadow of how His hand will be upon the ministry ahead of us.
Thank you all for all your prayers and support. We know that we will have many testimonies in the months and years to come as we serve God here in Zambia. Remember that you all are just a much a part of this as we are.

All For His Glory,

Jesse and Heather Krenz
